What that means is, while FUT progress will carry over from PS4 to PS5, players on PS4 will not be able to play with or against people on PS5. Not only will PS5 players not be able to play with Xbox Series X players, but players on different generations of consoles from the same family of systems also won’t be able to play together. That means you can only play against others who have the same console as you. This will also carry over for the next generation of consoles. NHL 22 will not include any kind of crossplay, whether it’s across systems or generations. EA does not seem to be fans of cross platform play and they haven’t changed their stance for this year’s soccer title. Unfortunately, there is no cross platform play at all in FIFA 22.
